RDI-001 PLATFORM ``QATAR MUSAIMEER PUMPING STATION & OUTFALL``
The Mesaimeer Pump Station and Outfall Tunnel forms part of the Mesaimeer Surface and Ground Water Drainage Tunnel Project, providing a sustainable solution for the discharge of surface and stormwater in Qatar.
The project includes a pumping station equipped with 10 pumps and associated auxiliary facilities, together with an approximately 10 km long offshore outfall tunnel with an internal diameter of 3.7 m.
The pumping station is located at the end of the Mesaimeer Tunnel, south of Hamad International Airport, and is designed to provide a pumping capacity of approximately 19.7 m³/s.
SCOPE
CiABIM collaborated with the design department of BESIX Dubai on the engineering of the RDI-001 Platform.
Our scope included the steel connection design and BIM coordination of the platform, together with support for steel detailing and the preparation of the corresponding material reports.
