Ioannis Angelopoulos
Director of BIM & Engineering
Ioannis is a Civil Engineer and an alumnus of the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), focusing his career on structural BIM applications. For over a decade, he has driven large-scale engineering projects across Greece and internationally, working closely with Design & Application Engineers S.A. Recognized early on as an exceptional user of Tekla Structures, Ioannis consistently refines his expertise to remain at the forefront of BIM technology.
He possesses deep, practical knowledge of the steel detailing industry, bringing valuable insights into mining and façade engineering projects. At CiABIM, his core focus is advancing interoperability between steel structures and other structural or architectural BIM platforms, such as Revit.
As an expert in steel connection design, Ioannis has successfully streamlined workflows between Tekla Structures and IDEA StatiCa. In his role as coordinator, he optimizes the utilization of Tekla Structures across all company projects, maintaining a hands-on, results-driven approach to ensure seamless project delivery.
Driven by a passion for technical innovation, Ioannis ensures that CiABIM consistently adopts next-generation workflows to improve efficiency and reduce project lead times. His leadership style focuses on fostering strong team collaboration and maintaining rigid quality control, ensuring that every deliverable aligns with international engineering standards and client specification.

Stylianos Krikos
Director of Structural Engineering
Stylianos is a highly accomplished structural engineer with extensive experience in leading large-scale projects. He graduated from the University of Thessaly in 2005 and holds an MSc in “Analysis and Design of Earthquake Resistant Structures” from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). From the outset of his career, Stylianos dedicated his professional path to advanced structural analysis.
His specialized expertise spans concrete, steel, and composite structures. By seamlessly integrating his analytical precision with BIM design methodologies, he introduces outstanding technical flexibility to the team. Furthermore, his comprehensive mastery of Eurocodes has enabled him to successfully deliver complex international projects in collaboration with major construction and fabrication firms.
Stylianos has spearheaded structural analysis for a diverse portfolio of specialized projects, including Industrial, Commercial, Administrative, and Educational buildings, Luxury Hotels, Bridges, Mining infrastructure, and Waste Management facilities. Utilizing Staad.Pro, R-FEM, Fespa, and IDEA StatiCa, he leads the structural calculation and design department at CiABIM.
As an expert in concrete and steel structures, Stylianos delivers high-value consultancy services that balance structural design integrity with practical constructability, providing innovative solutions for the most challenging projects.
