“CiABIM Solutions” is a professional group of specialists that, based on their combined experience, provide efficient solutions in the field of Structural Steel Design and Building Information Modelling (BIM). Our company was created in 2018 by Ioannis Angelopoulos & Stylianos Krikos. The two Engineers, after gaining more than 10 years of experience in the civil design industry of Greece, decided to combine their fields of specialization, in order to take Structural Steel Design and BIM to new heights.
Always dedicated to the scope of works of our projects, we provide to our Clients high technical and consulting services. Specialized and focused on the interactivity of Building Information Modelling, we retain a high level of cooperation with large firms worldwide.
We offer high quality services in Structural Steel Design and Steel Connection Design, together with top class Steel Detailing services using the well-known BIM software “Tekla Structures”.
The professional approach of our team is to develop flexible, accurate, optimum and cost-efficient designs through the effective collaboration of the BIM software tools.
In addition to our Structural Design capabilities, we also provide Architectural and MEP design services, as well as façade engineering services for our projects.

Ioannis Angelopoulos
General Manager
Ioannis is a civil engineer. He graduated from the National Technical University of Athens. His professional career is focused on the structural BIM field of expertise. For 10 years he has participated in large scale engineering projects in Greece and worldwide, cooperating with the company Design & Application Engineers S.A. and he has gained significant experience in the field of civil engineering. From the very beginning of his career, he became an exceptional user of the software Tekla Structures and he’s always using the most recent and up to date BIM software tools.
Ioannis has a deep knowledge of the steel detailing industry. His experience in mining and façade projects is very valuable for the team. The main role of Ioannis as a head member of CiABIM is his ability to combine Tekla Structures with other structural and architectural BIM software tools. As a steel connection designer expert, he can successfully combine Tekla Structures and IDEA StatiCa. He makes sure that Tekla Structures is optimally used in the projects.

Stylianos Krikos
Senior Structural Civil Engineer
Stylianos is a highly experienced structural engineer, with more than 10 years of experience in the design of large scale projects. In 2005 he graduated from the University of Thessaly and then got his MSc in “Analysis and Design of Earthquake Resistant Structures” from the National Technical University of Athens. As a professional, he has always been interested in structural analysis.
The field of specialization of Stylianos is concrete, steel and composite structures analysis. His ability to combine his structural analysis expertise with the BIM design gives enormous flexibility to the team. His in-depth knowledge of Eurocodes has given him the opportunity to participate in worldwide projects in cooperation with large construction and fabrication firms. Stylianos has worked in many special structural analysis projects such as Industrial, Commercial, Administration and Educational Buildings, Luxury Hotels, Concrete & Steel Bridges, Mining projects and Waste water – Solid waste projects.
As a Staad.Pro, R-FEM, Fespa and IDEA StatiCa software senior user, he is the structural head leader for the CiABIM. He is a concrete and steel structure design expert, always available to provide consulting services not only in the field of design but also in the constructability field.
Stylianos is a skillful civil engineer specialist, always focused on new complex and challenging projects.

Georgios Chrysovitsiotis
Technical & Business Development Manager Middle East
Georgios is a Chartered Civil Engineer. He has graduated from the National Technical University of Athens (2003), and holds an MSc from Imperial College London (2004), an MSc from NTUA (2005) and an executive MBA from IE University Madrid (2016).
He has got more than 17 years of international engineering and construction experience in Greece, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, where he has been working for various engineering consultants and international contractors.
Georgios has had the opportunity to work on iconic projects (e.g. The Tower @ Dubai Creek Harbour, Dubai Waste Management Center, NEOM The LINE and has got significant experience in a wide range of projects such as industrial plants, energy projects, water & waste treatment projects, steel & concrete buildings, enabling works, ports, retaining structures and foundations.
Apart from his strong technical background, that is focused on design, engineering, methods and planning, he has also got some strong project and stakeholder management skills.
Georgios has achieved chartership status with the UK Institution of Civil Engineers (CEng MICE) in 2015 an is also a member of other international professional bodies, like the Technical Chamber of Greece (2003), EUR ING FEANI (2021) and the Society of Engineers UAE (2013).
