The ACS Courier Logistics Hub & Office Building represents a major investment in the development of the company’s logistics infrastructure in Greece.
The facility comprises approximately 36,000 m² of logistics areas, incorporating extensive steel structures designed to accommodate the operational and functional requirements of a modern logistics hub.
The project involved approximately 2,800 tonnes of structural steel, requiring extensive structural detailing and coordination to support fabrication and construction.
CiABIM collaborated with DAE S.A., undertaking the steel connection design and structural BIM development for the project. Our scope included the integration of the structural analysis and connection design requirements into the Tekla Structures environment.
A fully detailed Tekla Structures model (LOD 400) was developed for fabrication, providing the steel fabricator with coordinated and accurate information to support the production and construction process.
