The Amandi Energy project involved the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of a 192 MW combined cycle power plant in Takoradi, Ghana.
The plant was designed to operate on both natural gas and light crude oil and incorporated advanced power-generation technology supplied by General Electric.
The project was executed by METKA in consortium with General Electric.
CiABIM collaborated with the project’s steelwork subcontractor, supporting the development of the Tekla Structures model for the G.I.S. Building.
Our scope included structural BIM coordination, steel detailing and the preparation of the corresponding material reports, supporting the development of coordinated information for fabrication and construction.
